My top pick may surprise you, but I absolutely love the dress..............
Jennifer Garner in Gucci
I am obsessed with the back of this dress. I wish there were better photos taken of it, but I can't find a single one that does it justice. The color is like a really beautiful purpley-fuschia. Love.
Runner-up is non other than Jennifer Lawrence in Dior Haute Couture. She looked stunning. My only reservation about the dress is how bridal it looked, although most of the red carpet correspondents felt that it veered from that because of her young age. I still felt like I would've loved to float in that at my wedding.
She also nailed it on the accessories. The drop necklace was just what the dress needed. I love that she didn't just throw some million dollar diamond necklace around her neck, which could've been very easy, but certainly not as dramatic or modern.
Last but not least, my 2nd runner-up is a tie.
Amy Adams in Oscar and the Tatums in Gucci
Now seriously, Amy is so fairy-tale like. So angelic and practically perfect. She looked flawless in this light blue Oscar de la Renta gown.
Jenna Dewan-Tatum is probably one of the best looking prego's I've seen on the red carpet. Helps that she's blessed with good genes, but it also doesn't hurt when you have one of the best looking men in Hollywood as your husband beside you. She apparently has a few more months left in her pregnancy and they announced on the red carpet that they will not be slowing down for baby, in fact they have plans to give birth in London where Channing will be on location.
My pick for worst dressed last night went to:
Kristen Stewart in Reem Acra
Here's a thought: it's the Oscars, brush your hair.
That's a wrap on red carpet season. So many amazing looks from last night, much more than I could touch on. Congrats to all the winners, especially Adele and Ben Affleck!
