another award show
The holiday weekend was absolutely gorgeous down here in Charleston. Hazed in complete elation, I almost missed the fact that it was the EMA's on MTV. I didn't watch, because I caught on a little too late, (I mean who watches them anyway?), but twitter filled me in properly and Kim K's Instagram clogged my feed. I will be honest and say that seeing all the buzz surrounding the EMA's, I did have to ask my husband what the heck they were. Ohhhh, right.. European Music Awards. Just another awards show to gawk at the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Here is my rundown of what they wore on the red carpet:
Who knows what's genuine from her anymore now that Kanye has control of her wardrobe. Can't say he's really received enough fashion accolades to warrant that.

All other attendees were pretty much worthy of not mentioning since they barely got dressed for the event. Seems the EMA's may have went rogue like their American counter-part did this past year. MTV has recently appointed a new CEO that obviously may have other things in mind for these annual shows. Here's to crossing our fingers for some better things to come from the network.

trend stalking: Diecuts
I'm seriously in love with this shop on Etsy, Oh Dier Living.
They specialize in die-cut signs that they hand-make one by one in their shop in Minneapolis. Not only are they awesome, I think that pretty much speaks for itself, but there is always a reason to have something like this in your life. The signs are great for weddings, parties, on your mantel, in your office, on a bookshelf, in your restaurant or store - I mean really, I don't need to give you a reason.
I'm not affiliated with them in any way but I give props where props are due. Their signs have been showing up on all sorts of tumblr feeds and Pinterest boards recently and I know how unfortunate it is that people forget to source where they get it from.

3. I'm tired of seeing the 'do not open until' bows in maternity photos. Try this, it's cuter!
4. I have a guest room dedicated to the bright lights of Manhattan... I think this one would look great leaning on a wall shelf.
5. I had to pay homage to my Brooklyn... but now there are plenty of children named Brooklyn, too. Hook your baby up!
